In 2016, they dazzled us with autobiographical musical “Five Minutes, Miss Draper.” Now outrageous singer Susan Campanaro AKA Lavinia Draper and composer/pianist/keyboard player Lynn Portas are returning with a new original musical entitled “Missing Person,” directed by Christopher Scott, Susan/Lavinia told Q News recently.
Catch matchless Lavinia Draper, starring in “Missing Person,” at the Susan Batson Studio, 311 West 43rd Street, Room 201, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, in Hell’s Kitchen, on Thursdays March 28 and April 4, 11, 18 and 25, at 8 pm. Tickets are available for just $20 at www.purplepass.com/laviniadraper.
Lavinia was, the poster warns, “Last seen drunk and disorderly at the Kismet Club in South Miami,” and identifies her as “age unknown,” with “bleach blonde hair? 125 pounds, inappropriately dressed.” Yep, sounds like the Lavinia Draper that we all know and love.
For her Fire Island fans, Susan also let Q News know that we can look forward to her and Lynn performing at the Sand Castle restaurant and piano bar, at the ocean, in downtown Cherry Grove, on most Sundays this summer from 5 to 8 pm.
